This aluminum panel covers the upper "U" / header channel on our type 9, 10 and 14 radiators for a cleaner look. Install with pop rivets.

Oil Cooler Bypass: This part might just save a race or driver school weekend. If your oil cooler should be damaged or suffer a rupture, this little part can be substituted for the oil cooler and keep you in the hunt. Also, the bypass can make engine service with the oil cooler removed a lot safer and easier.

The bypass comes in two configurations. stock e36 M3 or MZ3, and with -10 AN fittings.. Please specify which is required.

We have noted more M54 engine failures due to overheating than on any of BMW's previous engines. We believe this is due to a combination of factors including the electronic thermostat and high operating temperatures. Our M54 Competition Thermostat Plate Kit is designed to return the selection of normal engine operating temperature to the owner/builder and improve engine longevity by replacing the failure prone electronically-controlled thermostat with a mechanical unit. The Zionsville Autosport high capacity engine oil cooler fits the 2001-2002 BMW Z3 S54 M Roadster or M Coupe. It will also fit European E36 M3s, vehicles retrofitted with S54 M Roadster radiators or the Zionsville Autosport type #4 radiator.
